While the Lion is sourced entirely from Weinviertel, the fruit for this bottling is grown entirely in Illmitz, opposite Lake Neusiedl from the Leithaberg hill where the soils are more sand. This stainless steel grner veltliner is a mineral focused expression, incredibly easy to drink with austere depth.
