I pulled these two out of the same pile and both are early punch paper embroideries

I had two immediate thoughts

lusty + awkward

the combination of corrugation and incising on smoothed areas of this one--the latter on the on the upper half of the body--make me think it may date toward the later part of the period

It seems possible this was cut down from a large one
