There is some surface creasing or scratching to the photo that are visible when viewed close up
and features a pretty charming angel-winged piggy declaring: "I want to be an angel
I just love her
and there is something about the particular dinged-up cheerfulness of this one particularly that keeps reminding me of the fried chicken chain/front for Gus Fring's meth empire on Breaking Bad
as well as a few with little windows carved in the side of the egg to allow a peek at the chick inside
SOLD Very Sweet, Very Naive Antique Hand-carved Acrobat Toy Made by Neal, Fifth Grade mocha ware cup There is some surface creasingAbout as naive an old carved "acrobat" toy as it gets, which is why I really I love it. I learned from a note accompanying this sweet thing that it was published in Eleanor Lakin's 2013 Folk Art for Children: Handmade in America 1760 1940. (Well worth checking out, lots of fabulous things featured alongside this one!) I presume it was the creation of a young "Neal, Fifth Grade," which is written in graphite on one side of the face. Penciled features
