Antique Large Hand-painted NOT on Pine etchings and I think altogether achievesSurely this was cut down many years ago from a longer sign, which is a bit sad, but also makes it much more manageable (it's over 2 feet long as is) and of course I love the resulting concision of "NOT," lending itself to functioning as a comment on all sorts of contexts and situations. And what a beauty of an object, too, with these beautifully bold hand painted black capital letters against white painted ground, and a gorgeously weathered surface
