The curled piece attached by rivet to the bottom left of the hanging rack is a tiny bit loose

and the bottom half of the basket mirroring the top

The brush measures 11 7/8" long with a diameter of 2 1/2"

one arm of one of them has been replaced (I believe the toy originally came with a couple of replacement arms

Lovely Antique Yellow and Black Grain-Painted Horsehair Brush farm tool it is in very goodI've gathered and sold a fair number of antique horsehair brushes at this point, but this is the first one I've found with a painted wood handle, in a style which I believe would be referred to as grain painting, executed in yellow and black. I believe it likely dates to the mid 19th century or so, and features a full head of pale bristles peppered with a few black ones, which I think perfectly complements the handle. Really lovely.
